London is one of the most exciting and most visited destinations in the world. London is a place that every traveler dreams to see at least once in their lifetime. London is a city steeped in history and worth visiting this city for exploring and discovering historical flavor.

The Tower of London is one of London’s most recognizable landmarks, and one of London’s most historic sights to see in London. This historic monument was built in 1078 by William the Conqueror.

This UNESCO historical site has been used for many different purposes over the centuries. That includes a royal residence, a prison, and a fortified battlement warding off unwelcome soldiers arriving in London.

The Tower of London is a historic castle located on the north bank of the River Thames in Central London. Inside the Tower of London, tourists will be dazzled by the collection of Crown jewels. It features the unique Imperial State Crown worn for coronations, and a scepter containing the largest cut diamond in the world.

Some of the aspects that you can find here are enlightenment ideas and values, open debate, scientific research, tolerance, progress, and critical scrutiny of all assumptions.  This Museum is driven by an unquenchable curiosity all through the world.

For the rest of the monuments that I have talked about, the outside building work is of architectural genius. But, it is the monument where the visitors will be astounded by the interior work. Visitors will be amazed at the building’s size and details as well as by various famous historic names who are entombed inside the building.

This monument was designed by Sir Christopher in 1711 on Ludgate Hill. This is one of the iconic dome roofs that stands prominently under London’s skyline.

While stepping inside St. Paul’s Cathedral, you can discover the magnificence of this amazing cathedral and also the wonderful paintings and mosaics adorning the building’s walls and ceiling.

Mansion House is located above the Bank tube station. This London monument is located at the center of the city. Mansion House was founded in 1846 by the famous architect James Bunning. Here, the visitors can find several items that were from the 18th and early 19th centuries that includes the benches and hall Keeper’s chair.

The official citizen is the Lord Mayor of London. This building was originally made to be an eight-horse stable but it was never used for that purpose.

The Salon holds state banquets between the London Mayor and his peers. Various large red flower-patterned carpets with red curtains make the room extra grand. The long parlor of the building is used for holding business meetings.

Another attraction is the Egyptian Hall which is influenced by Roman architecture. But there is no relation to Egypt. The old Ballroom is also used for business meetings and it consists of musical instruments designs.

#8. Grand Natural History Museum:

Once the Grand natural history Museum was the workplace of Charles Darwin.  This is a must-see London monument that you should visit with your whole family. This Museum was founded in the 19th century and is one of London’s most exquisite monuments.

This British museum is home to an entire host of dinosaur skeletons with an addition of 80 million objects. This museum is situated at South Kensington, this area is known as Museum Mile. Visitors will be amazed at the grand entrance of the welcoming hall. A blue whale skeleton is suspended from the ceiling at the entrance hall.

The Natural History Museum allows visitors for free. You can browse its displays at your leisure. You can take a professional historian’s guide who can show you the most interesting and important treasures and also explain the roots.
