Because of the ease of transportation, and abundance of trees, the site draws huge crowds towards it every year.
The trees are planted on either side of the paths that crisscross The Meadows. It creates dreamy tunnels of blossoms in every Spring.
You will be surprised to know that trees in The meadows are always the last to bloom. However, the wait was worth it.
2. Braidburn Valley Park
Braidburn Valley Park resides along sloping hillsides in the South of Edinburgh. One of the hillsides of the park is covered with more than 400 white and pink blossoms cherry trees.
According to the websites, the trees of this park were planted in 1935. The Guides Association planted these trees and in the shape of their emblem, a trefoil.
The spot offers a gorgeous view of pink and white blossoms in the spring. It is just magical walking across the park on an early spring morning when the fog is lifting and the birds are waking up.

According to reports, the cherry tree was planted in 1938 near the East Gate. This cherry tree continues to be one of the most favourite among the visitors.

Starbank Park is located at Trinity at the northern edge of Edinburgh. Starbank Park is a true hidden gem of the city.
