Four Ways To Have A Great Evening In London’s West End

London’s West End is the heartbeat of all things entertainment in the city and a first port of call for tourists looking to enjoy an evening in the capital. And it’s with good reason too, there’s simply so much to do!

There are all manner of great things to get up to in the West End, many of which will create memories that’ll last a lifetime.

No matter what day of the week it is, it’s an area of London that’s always buzzing, and if you want to sample it, here are four great ways to spend your evening there…

Watch a West End Show

Of course, there’s only one place to start, and that’s with a West End show. Similar to Broadway in New York, here is where you’ll find dozens of theatres, all showcasing some of the best musicals and shows on earth.

From Chicago to the Mousetrap, to the likes of the Harry Potter play, which has taken the world by storm, catching a show really is a must.

Have a Laugh with Live Comedy

Many of the UK’s favourite comics find a home away from home in the West End, with many of the best comedy clubs in the country found in the area.

The likes of the Comedy Store, Leicester Square Theatre, Soho Theatre, West End Comedy Club and many more all have great acts on nightly, and are ideal for a more relaxed evening to sit back and have a laugh to.

A Pint in a Traditional London Pub

London pubs are like nowhere else on earth. They’re unique and have a real buzz to them. As people fall out of work, the pubs and pavements become cluttered with people enjoying a hard earned refreshment before catching the Tube home.

The West End has some fabulous London pubs, including the Argyll Arms, The Lamb & Flag, The Salisbury and the John Snow in Soho. That’s just a handful of incredible pubs right across London, however, and the ideal way to get an evening in the West End started, and indeed finished.
